Rotermann’s 6-8 „Jahuladu“

Jahuladu (Flour warehouse) is divided into the Old and the New Jahuladu. The new Jahuladu is a modern office building straight next to the square and connected to the historical Jahuladu. The office building is interweaved with modern architecture and historical atmosphere penetrating both buildings.

The old Jahuladu was ready in 2008.  It was connected to a new building designed by an architect Hanno Grossschmidt, which has approximately 3000 square metres of sales and office areas and is situated next to a new city square.

What we did

We fulfilled waterproofing and insulation works of „Jahuladu“ turned roof.

What we used

We primed the garret floor with Primer B2 and installed there the laminated membrane GRACE Bituthene 4000. It was overcoated with the laminated membrane GRACE Bituthene 8000. The laminated membrane edges were sealed with liquid membrane GRACE Bituthene Mastic. The areas around indenting were sealed with liquid membrane Bituthene LM. For the upturns protection we installed protection boards GRACE Servipak3mm and the horisontal substrates waterproofing was protected with heat insulation Styrofoam 500 2x50mm. Water drainage is engineered through the heated indenting system HL 62, collecting water from several planes.
