Substation and fire water tank in Maxima logistics center
Maxima retail chain established one of the biggest – a 45 000 sqm wide logistics center to Harju County, Rae parish, Kurna village. This facility includes strorages for dry foods, cold warehouses and empty packages together with 130 receiving platvorms which are capable to service 300 cars in a day.
The designer for this project was Nord Projekt AS and the main contractor was AS Ehitusfirma Rand& Tuulberg.
Watertight cable sleeves HAUFF-TECHNIK HSI 150 and HSI 90 were installed into the walls of the substation building and TRADECC PC Bentostrip T joint filler to construction joints. XYPEX ADMIX C-1000 NF concrete additive was used to reach the needed watertightness in fire water tank concrete, TRADECC PC Bentostrip T joint filler in construction joints, BESAPLAST D320 PVC sealant in deformation joints and CETCO STB filling plugs together with XYPEX Patch&Plug mixture in tensile holes. HAUFF-TECHNIK ZRV and FZR wall sleeves were used in the walls of the resrevoir to create needed holes. After installing the pipes, the penetrations were sealed using HAUFF-TECHNIK HSD rubber seals.
