R14 and R18 buildings at Rotermanni quarter

In Rotermanni R14 building we waterproofed the basement floor walls, roof ceilings and also the levelling tank for rain water. In Rotermanni R18 we waterproofed basement floor walls and the roof ceiling from Ahtri street side of the building.
We used Grace Preprufe 160R and Bituthene 4000 rollable membranes to waterproof the walls. To protect the waterproofing we installed insulation and protection boards to the walls. We also added Grace Bituthene 8000 waterproofing to the supporting walls on the car drive way from the underground parking floor. We installed Grace Bituthene 4000 rollable memebrane in two layers to waterproof the roof ceilings on these buildings. We filleted the joining corners of the roof ceiling in the construction using Bituthene LM, installed multi-system roof drainages to discharge water, sealed the edges of the rollable membrane with Bituthene Mastic liquid membrane, installed Styrofoam insulation and Interplast Iso-Drain 8 Geo drainage mats. We also repaired waterproofing and deformation joint on the existing roof ceiling of R5 building.

In addition we filled deformation cracks in existing masonries in building R6a using an injection method and Epasit EPM filling mortar.

This quarter comes with unique designs, exiting eating places and shops and it opens the city to the sea. Buildings were developed by US Invest, construction by Oma Ehitaja, Lemminkäinen Eesti AS and Mapri OÜ.
