Solaris Centre
Located in the heart of Talllinn shopping and entertainment centre Solaris opened in the year of 2009. Total area of this culture, conference and entertainment centre is 43 000 m². Solaris boasts a concert hall with 1800 seats, a Solaris cinema complex with seven screens, colour cinema Artis with two screens, art gallery, jazz club, dancing studio, cafes/restaurants and various shops. The centre also provides an under-ground car park for more than 260 cars on the area of 9000 m². The centre developer is Solaris Keskus, architects from an architectural bureau Raivo Puusepp OÜ, a builder – Merko Ehitus AS and Skanska EMV.

What we did
We fulfilled waterproofing of Solaris Centre roofs and Nokia concert hall main entrance stairs using GRACE Bituthene system.
What we used
The roof ceiling was primed with Primer B2 and double-coat laminated membrane GRACE Bituthene 4000 was installed. The laminated membrane edges were sealed with liquid membrane GRACE Bituthene Mastic. Areas around racking were sealed with liquid membrane Bituthene LM. For protection of upturns and horisontal substrates we installed heat insulation plates EPS of different thickness.
